The
Minnesota Zoo Amphitheater, located in Apple Valley, Minnesota is home more than 2,300
animals on 500 acres and is open 363 days a year. As an accredited institution

seats with concerts generally beginning at 7:30 pm and ending at 10:30 pm. There
is ample parking for a minimal fee and all concerts are rain or shine.
Guests, who come to the Zoo Amphitheater after 4pm on the day of the concert, may
use the concert ticket as admission to the Zoo Amphitheater. The Zoo Amphitheaters main exhibits are artfully
arranged in five themed areas, including three themed walking trails ranging
from one to two miles in length. The Minnesota Zoo Amphitheater has a Minnesota Trail which
features animals native to Minnesota, a Northern Trail which hosts animals from
areas above the 45th parallel, a Tropics Trail which is an indoor walking trail
featuring animals from areas in the tropics, Discovery Bay which features an
activity area themed around marine wildlife including the Zoo Amphitheater's infamous dolphins
and the Zoo Amphitheater is also home to a Family Farm exhibit complete with a petting Zoo Amphitheater.
The Zoo Amphitheater also boasts an excellent gift shop, bookstore, and concession stand
with all exhibits closing at 6pm nightly.
Whether
you want to see birds and bats or monkeys and bears, the Minnesota Zoo Amphitheater is sure
to entertain. Guests can ride the monorail, watch a dolphin show, a daily shark
